Why is a Honda extended warranty cheaper here, if the contract is the same?
It is the same Honda Plus contract you would get at any Honda counter. Honda prints a suggested retail price for it. Honda’s own price list says the dealer may sell for less. So the price is set by the dealer that sells the plan, not by the program.

What stays exactly the same when you buy from us?
The contract. Honda Plus is the extended warranty program of Honda Canada Inc., sold through authorized Honda dealers. The terms below are the same whoever sells you the plan.

Cancel for any reason within 30 days of the plan purchase date for a 100% refund, through the Honda dealer.

Where repairs happen
For a covered repair, have the vehicle taken to the Honda dealer of your choice.
Plan terms include the factory warranty, so “8 years” means 8 years of total coverage counted from delivery, not 8 extra years on top.

Where does the price of Honda Plus come from?
Honda prints a suggested retail price for each Honda Plus plan, dated and subject to change, and each dealer then sets its own selling price.

We sell Honda Plus by request form and phone. You send your VIN, an advisor calls you, and you receive a written quote for your vehicle.
Is the Honda extended warranty price negotiable?
Whether a dealer will lower its price is that dealer’s decision, and we cannot speak for other dealers. A written quote is the test that works anywhere.
An advisor confirms your price by phone and you receive it in writing. If you hold a lower written quote for the same plan, our pledge applies. Coverage follows the VIN, not the dealer, so you do not have to buy from the dealer that sold you the car.
How can I check the price myself?
Ask any Canadian Honda dealer for a written quote on the same plan and vehicle, then compare it with ours as an all-in price, taxes included. A written quote for your VIN is the price that counts, not a number in an ad.

The clock started at delivery. Honda Plus coverage is counted from your vehicle’s original delivery date, at 0 km, whenever you buy the plan. Waiting does not move it forward, so the longer you wait, the less coverage the plan gives you. Example only, not a quote: on an 8-year / 200,000 km plan, a vehicle that is already 3 years and 60,000 km old has at most 5 years / 140,000 km of Honda Plus coverage left. Is there a Honda extended warranty discount?
We do not advertise discount percentages, dollar savings or countdowns. What we offer instead is a pledge you can test.
A promotion is a number you have to trust. A pledge is a test you can run yourself.
What “cheaper” does not mean
