How do I buy a Honda extended warranty online?
To buy Honda Plus online, send a quote request with your VIN, model year, kilometres and contact details. An advisor from Magog Honda calls to confirm your Honda is eligible and give your price, and the sale closes by phone. Honda Plus is a Honda Canada Inc. program, and Honda’s 30-day full refund applies.

What you need before you start
Your vehicle details, your name, a phone number and your province. Email is optional.
Your VIN
Find the 17 characters on the plate at the base of the windshield, on the driver’s door jamb sticker, or on your registration and insurance papers.

Your vehicle and your details
Your model year. If you are not sure, choose “Older than 2022 / not sure” on the form and it is checked by phone.
Your kilometres. Enter the exact reading shown on your odometer, in kilometres.
Your name, phone number and province. The sale closes by phone, so leave a number where you can be reached.
Optional: your original delivery date. Honda counts your coverage from the day your Honda was first delivered. The form has no field for it, so give the date during the call.
Your registration and insurance papers
Both show your VIN and your model year. Keep them within reach when the advisor calls, in case a detail needs checking.

Eligibility and plan options

Inspection certificate. Model years 2022 and 2023 require a Honda Plus vehicle inspection certificate.
Over 100,000 km. Above 100,000 km, Honda refers to a separate Honda Plus price list for used vehicles. Your advisor will tell you what applies.

Honda’s 30-day full refund runs from your purchase date. Quebec residents also have a 10-day right to cancel in writing, at no cost or penalty. Later, you can transfer or cancel your plan.
When does my coverage start?
Honda Plus is counted from your vehicle’s original delivery date, at 0 km, not from the day you buy the plan, so the longer you wait, the less coverage you buy.
- Basic factory warranty: 3 years / 60,000 km
- Powertrain: 5 years / 100,000 km
- Honda Plus: up to 8 years / 200,000 km
Example only, not a quote: on an 8-year / 200,000 km plan, a vehicle that is already 3 years and 60,000 km old has at most 5 years / 140,000 km of Honda Plus coverage left.

Which Honda dealer will repair my car?
For a covered repair, have the vehicle taken to the Honda dealer of your choice. Your Honda Plus coverage is attached to your VIN, not to the dealer who sold you the plan, so you never have to bring your car back to the seller. Repairs are covered in Canada and the continental U.S. Outside Canada you pay for the repair first and your selling dealership reimburses eligible claims. Moving within Canada changes nothing.
