What is the Honda Plus extended warranty?
The Honda Plus Extended Warranty is the official extended warranty program of Honda Canada Inc., sold through authorized Honda dealers. Up to 8 years or 200,000 km, whichever comes first. A 10-year / 160,000 km plan is also offered. It has a $0 deductible on a covered component breakdown, includes roadside assistance and, in Honda’s wording, uses genuine Honda parts.
Magog Honda, part of Groupe Olivier, is an authorized Honda dealer and sells it by request form and phone. Your coverage is attached to your VIN, not to the dealer who sold you the plan. For a covered repair, have the vehicle taken to the Honda dealer of your choice.

- Cancel for any reason within 30 days of the plan purchase date for a 100% refund, through the Honda dealer. Refund terms after 30 days are in your contract.

- Transferable under most conditions, at no cost. The transfer happens automatically when the Honda factory warranty is transferred to the new owner.
- Eligibility
- Canadian-market vehicles up to 5 model years old and under 100,000 km. Both conditions must be met. Check if your Honda is eligible

Honda lists 9 comprehensive Honda Plus plans, from 5 years / 100,000 km up to 10 years / 160,000 km, plus 2 flexible-term plans, all counted from your vehicle’s original delivery date. An advisor shows the plans that fit your VIN and puts the price in a written quote that shows what it includes, taxes and any fees.

Plans in years / km: 5/100,000, 6/100,000, 6/160,000, 7/130,000, 7/160,000, 7/200,000, 8/130,000, 8/200,000 and 10/160,000 (years / km).

Which plans can I buy for my Honda?
Model years 2022 and 2023 require a Honda Plus vehicle inspection certificate. An advisor checks eligibility before quoting.
When does my coverage start?
Honda Plus is counted from your vehicle’s original delivery date, at 0 km, not from the day you buy the plan, so the longer you wait, the less coverage you buy.

- Powertrain: 5 years / 100,000 km
- Honda Plus: up to 8 years / 200,000 km
