What is the Honda Plus price-match pledge?
The Honda Plus price-match pledge is Magog Honda’s commitment to match a lower written quote from a Canadian Honda dealer for the same Honda Plus plan on the same vehicle, if the quote qualifies. Conditions apply. It is for anyone comparing Honda Plus quotes in Canada, including owners who did not buy their Honda from us.
Honda Plus is the extended warranty program of Honda Canada Inc., sold through authorized Honda dealers. The contract is the same wherever you buy it, so in a Honda extended warranty price match the price is what you compare. If you are new to the program, the Honda Plus overview explains what it is.
Magog Honda sells it by request form and phone. Your coverage is attached to your VIN, not to the dealer who sold you the plan. Honoured at the Honda dealer of your choice across Canada. $0 deductible on a covered component breakdown.
The pledge is Magog Honda’s own commitment. It is not a Honda Canada program and it is not part of the Honda Plus contract.

Two quotes for the same plan can be matched. A different kind of contract cannot.

Ask for the same Honda Plus plan: the same term in years and kilometres, the same deductible and the same benefits. Make sure your VIN and the date are on it.

One timing fact while you compare. Honda Plus is counted from your vehicle’s original delivery date, at 0 km, not from the day you buy. The longer you wait, the less Honda Plus protection you buy. Example only, not a quote: on an 8-year / 200,000 km plan, a vehicle that is already 3 years and 60,000 km old has at most 5 years / 140,000 km of Honda Plus coverage left. Conditions of the pledge
The pledge applies to a written, dated quote from a Canadian Honda dealer (a dealer authorized by Honda Canada), for an identical Honda Plus plan on the same vehicle, compared on the same basis. Some quotes are excluded, and we may verify each one with the issuing dealer.
A quote qualifies when
- It is written and recent.
- It comes from a dealer authorized by Honda Canada and is dated within [TODO: N] days.
- It is for the same plan.
- The term in years and kilometres, the deductible, and the roadside and trip-interruption benefits are the same.
- It is for the same vehicle.
- The quote is for your VIN.
- It uses the same basis.
- Both prices include all mandatory fees, are compared before taxes, and use the same payment method. Optional add-ons are excluded.
What the pledge does not cover
- Bundled offers.
- Quotes that depend on buying another product are excluded.
- Time and stacking.
- Once matched, the offer stays valid [TODO: N] days. It cannot be combined with other offers.
- Other contracts.

What “the same plan” means
Honda Plus comes in several terms, so a lower price on a shorter or more limited plan is not the same plan. Honda’s published terms, for comparison:

Why a pledge instead of a discount?
We do not advertise percentages or dollar savings. A saving is only as reliable as the price it is measured against, and you cannot check it yourself. A pledge you can test: bring a written quote and see whether we match it.
Honda’s own price list says the dealer may sell for less. The same Honda Plus contract can therefore carry a different price from one dealer to the next. That is why a quote from another Canadian Honda dealer is the fairest yardstick.
